Azuki Beans
Azuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, are slowly simmered in a copper pot for eight hours and hand-kneaded to bring out their fullest flavor.
To complement the sweetness, we serve a selection of beverages: Sencha green tea (from Shimada, Nagasaki), Hojicha green tea (from Kenichi Shizen Noen, Nara), and coffee (from Itoya Coffee, Gunma). Each beverage is carefully chosen for its aroma and flavor to perfectly pair with our red bean paste.

The Taiyaki dough is carefully baked one by one on high heat, creating a thin, crispy skin.
With a perfectly balanced red bean paste that is not too sweet and a crispy, thin crust, our Taiyaki is a treat for the senses.
Since the founding of Naniwaya Sohonten in 1909, we have continued the tradition of our single-baked Taiyaki. Come and experience it for yourself.
